All Different things Today!

Hi my Prims,
I want to thank my dearest friend K for a special box she sent me.
We are very close and she means alot to me.
She will be getting her box next week I sent it out this past Saturday!

A Wilbur key chain that I can't eat, LOL! She also bought one for herself.

And this sign that she created herself, I LOVE it.
Mr. Hillcrest hung it up that night.

Now the antique mill we go to there is a booth that is very $$$$$$ and we go and look through there, but everything is top dollar so we DROOL!
Well the wife that owns the booth was there and she said when she works there every other Saturday it is 20% in her booth, so we saw this BEAUTIFUL Penn. stoneware  and she said her husband just bought it the night before at an auction so Ken said hey we have cash and we got a steal for this, they didn't make money if anything they lost money but she saw how much we fell in love with it.

Ken then came home and did some research and found out it was priced right $300.00 to $400.00 dollars, and we didn't spend that. She said they have all of this stuff in their home and she made our New Year with a BANG. We got their phone number and they are going to have us over and if we have cash they have some more things for us to buy!
She was a sweetheart!!!!! We hugged her and thanked her, we are still floating on air!!!!!  OUR REAL piece! So we are going to be going over to their home in a couple of weeks, she was also in Country Sampler but asked me NOT to give her name on my blog and I understand that.

I will show you where we put it in our livingroom when I take a picture, YES I forgot because I was just SO excited, it is high up and SAFE!
Now, it was the love of my lifes Birthday Dec.27th, I told you there was 3 of them Steven Dec.6th, Matt Dec.19th, our Anniversary Dec 12th but no pictures of that it was a beautiful special night that my hubby planned for us,then CHRISTmas then hubby's Birthday. Matt wasn't here he had to work until 10:00 pm but here are some pictures of my handsome husband,

Steven even said when he does get married he wants his Dad to be his Best man, we knew this a while back and when Steven told his Dad that I saw my hubby's eye's water up!

So last night we had a snow storm, here in the town we live in we got over a foot of snow. We did shovel the top deck for our furbabies so they could do the business. It was coming down here 2 inches an hour.We did shovel at least 4 times for them. Then I decided to take some pictures but when I was out there I sang to my hubby the whole song "Let it Snow"!

It was beautiful, but it was so nice to go in and have the fire going!
It was just a beautiful snowy night.
I almost forgot. My hubby collects all different kinds of oil lamps and I have posted many of them that I have found for my hubby but look at what he found.......

He LOVES it, and he put it right in his office!!!!

Our Chrristmas!

Hi my Prims,
I hope you all had a wonderful and happy CHRISTmas!!! We sure did.
The day before Christmas our older son Steve-o took picutres of ME making my Grandma's cookies that she made every year  just for Christmas. I DON'T like my picutre taken but I said okay what the hay. I am always taking pictures of them and I want to scrapbook these pictures in my 2 sons scrapbooks with the recipe, they each have 14 scrapbooks of just their lifes and then I have 16 of our family vacations and all different things we have done as a family!!!!!
So DON'T laugh and YES the kitchen is messy, I am baking so it isn't going to be prim and proper and I don't care, you have to live in your home right,
again here is the first picture....

Yes I have flour on my face,go figure!LOL!
The dough is from scratch.

Yep that's me no make-up and my PINK Santa hat! I hope I gave you gals a good laugh.

If you would love the recipe let me know in your comment my email isn't working right hubby is going to see what he can do if anything.
I made 3 dozen of them and I didn't have one, I am on my nutrisystem and doing well, great will power so the boys and my husband were the taster's and they didn't mind.I also made 3 dozens of snowballs too, and  homemade apple pie and I didn't get pictures, then after doing all the baking I was STILL wrapping.

When we woke up on Christmas morning we did have a white Christmas just enough......

Here is 2 of our furbabies, Marissa of course in pink and Koko, the next one will be Mocha and they always get stockings and it is so funny to watch them get their noses in the stockings and hear them snorting, LOL, it is funny! We sure do love our furbabies.
Mocha he is 15 yrs. old and he can't hear anymore and it does make us sad but he still very happy..

There is Mocha he is the one near the Christmas on Daddy and they are all in their sweater's they love them.

I am not posting the gift opening because the boys didn't want to be on the blog in their P.J's but here is Papa and His son Ken...

We told Papa something and that is the response we got.....Can you tell how HAPPY he is.
I told him he looked like Rocky when Rocky ran up those stairs and threw his arms up!

Yes me AGAIN, I call him Dad and he wanted a picture with me oh my goodness!!!!
Then our friends came Brandon,his wife Mandy and their daughter so we had a full home and I loved it, the fire was going, my candles were going,every Christmas tree was on,  We 7 trees all together, and we had Christmas music playing and the dinner was fabulous and then dessert, they were trying to have me just eat one cookie and I DIDN'T! WOOOHOOO, I just keeped thinking bathing suit, shorts,and tanks tops!!!!
So we had a very blessed day and evening, I did take pictures but some things are just for family.

We had not just a bad 2012 but also a hard 2011 so I pray for my family that 2013 will bring a fresh new year A (HEALTHY) New Year!

Hug and kiss your loved ones and
show them everyday you love them
because we ALL know that this is a precious LIFE that
the Lord gave to each of us and it is just that PRECIOUS!
Life is short, so enjoy each day, think of today and not think of yesterday!

A package from my friend!

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to share with you a box that came in the mail. This package is from my dear, sweet friend, Wendy. We have emailed each other for awhile and talked on the phone a few times,BUT there is BIG news and I am sure you all know but Wendy is a Grandma and her Grandson's name is Peter, he was born on the first day of winter so Congrats to Wendy and her Hubby and to their son and DIL Drew and Maria.
I am so happy for you both, You are going to be wonderful parents and it was Peter's first Christmas this year even though he was a few days old.
Now back to my special gift that Wendy made for me, check this out.

I hope you all had a wonderful and enjoyable Christmas.
We sure did here at the McNally's. We had my FIL,Steve-o's girlfriend and a couple that we have been freinds for about 5 years and their 15 yr. old daughter.
They all lefted about 9:00 so it was a very busy day!

They are saying 2 to 4 iches of snow starting tonight and then change to ice then rain!

All Different things

Hi Prims,
I just want everyone to know that some friends have been emailing me like Tammy(The Primitive Place blog) and some other friends that have called me to tell me that when they email me it comes back saying undelivered I just want to say I am not ignoring you. Please leave it in a comment . After the holiday's Ken is going to check it and see what is going on.
I do have friends that email me all the time and I get theirs,GO FIGURE!

So now I want to share with you my prim homemade stockings I made years ago and for our poodles,which they are our family too. Someone asked me in a comment could you post them. I didn't have a pattern it just came from my head, YES I do think sometime, LOL!
Here they are......

These are the snowmen bells I put on the stockings.

The 3 stockings hanging down the side of the door are our fur babies, I did theirs in homespun green.

This snowman is very special to me. It is from my friend K, she made sock snowmen, and we have been friends since! I LOVE him K and our friendship!!!

I baked so cookies yesterday, I am on nutrisystem and have lost 10 pounds, I ordered their food for 3 months, I want to get to 110  and be a size 2 again, I am also learning how to eat healthy when I get off the plan and after I get to my goal weight and eat in small portions, I am very excited , 10 pounds, WOOHOO>
I am still baking though,I have my Grandma's cookies and snowballs to make TODAY. It doesn't bother me at all to bake or cook for the family, I thought it would but I have the will power and I WILL be in a bathing suit this summer and tank tops and shorts and I will be able to tuck in my shirts and wear a belt again,WOOOHOOO!
I still have wrapping to do,we have friends coming tomorrow and Ken's Dad(the boys) Papa, and Steve-o and his girlfriend Megan so there will be 8 people tomorrow. I am so excited! I am cooking a big meal but I am having my nutri system dinner, NO CHEATING for this gal!!!!!

Here is a coloinal light that I put up with my redware, I am changing the light in it, I have prim bulbs and I am going to do that today.

 

I have to get off, I have a list that I wrote and I am behind so I wanted to say to all my friends that I have made here

Ken and I also went to the lights last night and we always light a candle and we did again this year and we always say the Father's prayer and then pray for other things and we prayed outloud but softly, (me) for the families of Newtown, CT. Please remember them and ask the Lord Jesus to give them so kind of  comfort and peace to them and give them strength and to lean on him!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SON MATT!

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to wish our youngest son a very Happy 18th Birthday!
I sat down today and thought about when he was born and then starting to walk and talk, then going to school and has grown into a young good man.
Matt will always be our baby, know matter how old he and his older brother gets.
