Prim displays and Great finds!

Hi peeps, I know that I posted yesterday but I had to share this with my Prims!
Mr. Hillcrest and I went to the Grafton Flea Market and found some GREAT treasures!!! It was warm and I think that you ALL know how I DON'T enjoy the HEAT unless I am home in my pool!! Although I felt like I was melting we did find some great things and the prices we couldn't pass up!

This is a wooden bowl that I have been wanting, this type of bowl is unique because of the grove around it! I have seen them in prim shops up to $55.00 for these and this gal is NOT paying that so when I saw this I didn't want to ask so Mr. Hillcrest asked and I thought for sure the gentlemen was going to say $20.00 to $25.00 he said $8.00 and Mr. Hillcrest said SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to show you the inside of this wooden bowl. I can't wait to decorate this with something and when I do I will post it for you my Peeps!

I found this sampler and the gentlemen said well let me think $2.00, I said it's mine, you got it!!!!  It is the ABC's and 123"S Stitched my House Willow Tree.
When I find a home for it I will let you know and I will post where I put it!!!!

I love any kind of wooden boxes and of course rolling pins! They were a $1.00 a piece, and I said WOO HOO we are on a ROLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

I have seen alot of gals collect these so we asked and he said a $1.00 a piece, and we got 3 different ones in shape but same color and I have to find a home for them . You know I will!!!!!!!! So what do you gals think? Did we do well? I think so!!!!!

Here is my stove board, I love it so much! I am always changing it up. I can't wait to change it for the FALL time and my favorite holiday CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Okay my Peeps, I am done for now. I really enjoy doing this. Mr. Hillcrest showed me how to post picutres so LOOK out I will be blogging alot, it took me a long time but Mr. Hillcrest is very patient and a GREAT teacher . So, I can do it myself, sometime with alittle guidance for him, thanks Honey for being soooooo PATIENT with me!

The next post I hope I can post a recipie for you but do not forget we will be leaving for Tennessee this Saturday and Ken's brother will be staying here with our babies(our dogs) and watching the house! So I will have ALOT of picutres for you to see, the smokey mountains and we are going to look at land while we are down there because we plan on building our dream home in Cosby TN.
and alot of land because the boys have already said they are moving with us, Steve-o will be done College by then and they will have their own home on our land and we plan on calling it the McNally compound!!!!!!!!! We can't wait!

SUMMERTIME IS HERE!

Hi my peeps, It is summertime here in New England. This week there were two days that were SOOOOOOO HOT, it was yucky! I love summer, don't get me wrong, but when it gets like that I go in our inground pool, which I am SOOOO thankful to have and then the air conditioned home!!!!!! I needed it for sure!

What I love about summertime is, cookouts, swimming,vacations(we will be gone for 2 weeks) YAHOOOOOOO, campfires at night, one time going to the ocean, hanging out with my family, playing board games, cooking on the grill,going out for seafood and watching movies. Still my FAVORITE holiday is CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

Okay enough of that. I made a GREAT homemade spaghetti sauce this week in my crockpot and then I made homemade stuffed shells, here are some pictures!

Fathers Day/ Prims/ Flowers

Hi Girls, I'm back as promised. Here are some pics of Mr. Hillcrest with his sons and us spoiling him.

This is what Mr. Hillcrest made for me last week, and I painted it black with some burgandy. I know all of you Prims know what this is but I will tell you anyway. It is a table riser,at least that is what some prim stores around here call it.

I made this strawberry,can you believe this, "ME" making a craft. I am so proud of myself. I made 5 of them and put them in a wooden bowl.They look nice on our kitchen table!

FLOWERS, FLOWERS and more FLOWERS. I hope you enjoy some of the flowers I post for you all! Here are some in my pans,that I got free. Someone was moving and put a sign out saying take whatever you want it is ALL FREE!

 I LOVE pink. They are getting nice and full!

 Another beautiful color, this is Mr. Hillcrest's favorite bush and I love it because later in the year I pick them and dry them and put the dried flowers in arrangements!

These come up every year and I do have the orange ones also I just forgot to take a picture of them! Next time.

Here are my four o'clocks and some people call them lemon drops.
They do close up about 4:00,that is why I call them that.

Another beautiful plant, love the color. All of them are perrenials but the first two pics are not!

Here is the side view of one our gardens and behind it is our inground pool that we love when it is HOT out. I truly love my gardens and deck!

Another view, my black eyed susan's have not come up yet and my cone flowers (the purple one's ) and my daisy,still waiting they look like they are going to open up soon!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!

I want to wish ALL the Father's out there a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
To Mr. Hillcrest I want to say thank you for being the BEST and #1 Dad in the world! You are always there for each of our sons,you are a TRUE blessing to the boys and I!

Graduation Day at Hillcrest Home

I am BACK, I took a blog break for a little while and it felt good, but I did miss all my Prims!!

Our son Steven graduated from High School this past Friday. It was a PERFECT night. All week I had such mixed emotions, I cried and laughed and thought about the day he started school for the first time and put him on the BIG YELLOW school bus.

Mr. Hillcrest and I thought that was hard, but this was even more hard but GREAT at the same time!

When they read Steven's name to come up to recieve his diploma, Mr. Hillcrest and I knew how popluar Steven is but the whole auditorium went nuts and was screaming is name "Steve-o". We could not be more proud! In Sept. he is heading to college and again I will be crying happy and sad tears all at the same time!

All I am going to say is that Steven said, "OH No Way, I have never seen sooo many zero's on a check before",LOL. Later I asked Steven if we need a loan we will come to you, LOL, LOL!!!!!!!
