Patriotic Displays and More!

Hi my Prims,

I just wanted to show you a few pictures of my homestead with some Patriotic displays and some goodies that I put in there spot from my swaps that I have done!!
Next week I am going to show you all my perennial gardens, they are breathtaking!
I really love working in my gardens and smelling the flowers and seeing them come up every year and then I do take alot of them and transplant them in other gardens. Mr. Hillcrest opened up our pool and I can't wait to start using it. We grill all summer long and have a fire pit and make smores around the fire. We really enjoy the summer!

So, back to my Patriotic displays, I am VERY PROUD to be an AMERICAN!!!!!!! For all the men and women that gave their life for us to have our freedom it is an amazing gift! God Bless their families!

Here is my new lantern that Hubby spotted and we bought it. I just love it so much!!!! It is on our dry sink!

My good friend Jen sent me these GREAT prints and I love them. It was

a swap we did awhile back and I wanted to you all to see where I put them.

I love my little star made from a flag, NO I didn't make it, but I love it!!!

Here it is all together, I love tweaking and changing things up.. This is what I do and enjoy every minute of it!

I changed up my stove board! You can do so many things with your stove board and for every holiday! I just love it.

 I have my cheese box, my big huge basket which I love and inside that huge basket is an old basket and inside that old basket is a prim cat that a friend made for me and a prim doll that I bought.

Here is my old salt glazed jug that I bought and LOVE!Also did you see the Patriitic pillow as well.

All I can say is I LOVE it!!!!!!! It just brings me back to the simply time of life. There is so much history when you buy something and sometimes the person that sells a certain piece to you has great information about that certain piece and that really makes it worth while.

This picture shows the cranberry scooper that we bought!

A closer look, on the side of the cranberry scooper which I should have taken a picture of it shows the cranberries on it. It is just a beautiful piece.

This bonnet you see was a swap I did. Tammy A Primitive Place did this swap and Pamela ws the gal that got my name and she sent me this beautiful bonnet and alot more prim goodies that I did post on my blog if you want to see what Pam sent me and I wanted to show you where I put the bonnet. I have be collecting bonnets. Here is a close up of the bonnet.I LOVE the colors Pam used.

May 20th Prom!!!

Hi my Prims, I just wanted to show you a few pictures of our son's prom. His date is a Senior and asked Matthew to go to the prom and also his friend Katie,so he went with both and here are a  few pictures!!!

I am very proud, Matt looks so handsome and alot taller than me!

After all that rain, God parted the skies for alittle while and let the sunshine and gave us a gift of a rainbow on Matthew's prom night!!!

A Swap From a Friend and my Friendship Swap came!

Hi my Prims, I wanted to share with all of you a swap that Tammy At The Primitive Place Blog, we did and we had a ball doing it. Visit Tammy's blog here http://aprimitiveplace.blogspot.com/ I sent Tammy a goodie box and she sent one to me, but I have to say Tammy did keep me on my toes. Tam teased me and wouldn't even give me a hint, but we had FUN!!!
Look what I got from her, I do have to say it was Christmas here at Hillcrest Home Prims...

Check out this pillow Tam made for us. One day she asked what is the date /month and year we got married and she said I am NOT telling you why so I sent her the information!! It drove me nuts wondering what she was doing and LOOK what Tam made for us. I LOVE it so much!!!

I have a theme tree and these smell so yummy you could eat them. I hung them on my theme tree, I will show you and she bought me this great key chain. LOVE IT!

Isn't she beautiful. I just love her. Tam is very talented!

Look Tam knows I LOVE Christmas and Tam put in some homemade Christmas ornies and you CAN'T have enough of Prim Christmas homemade ornies...

Then Tam sent me some of these acorns, she has some too, for the FALL TIME!!!

Check out this pin keep doll that she bought on ebay for me!!!!!She has one and got me one too. We are twins!!!

I finally got one of Tam's pillows and pin keep, can you see they match!!!!! YES, I got one of Tam's pillows, WOOHOO!

Tam made them for me!!! Here is where I put them but I don't think I will be leaving them there. Still thinking!!!

Here is my Friendship swap that I hosted and I got my goodies from Wendy, thank you so much Wendy. I loved everything.

I am very lucky to have a few wonderful friends in my life and I feel very blessed!

This week our youngest son is going to the Prom so I will be posting pictures of that and also scrapbooking all the pictures we takes as well, don't forget, I am a scrapbooker!!!!!!. Matt is going with his friend that is a Senior and they have been Best friends forever and with the limo, flowers, tickets, rental tux, I hope they are going to have a ball. The Prom is being held in Boston, but Matt will be coming home at 11:00 because he is only in 10th grade NO after party for him, next year!!. Matt was home today and went to the Doctors and is on antibotics and cough medication, he did have a fever so we are hoping he will be feeling better for Friday because he is SO EXCITED! He did get what I had, poor kiddo, but he is getting alot of TLC!!!!!!
