I wanted to share our Colonial Christmas displays and some full room shots that I took after a few LONG days of decorating.
Christmas time has always been a special and magical time of year for me as I was a child and now as an adult. Sharing it with my husband and my sons have just given me such joy and happiness.
There are alot of traditions we have done and still do.
When we wake up our sons come down and wake us up and hubby stocks
the fire and puts on all the lights and Christmas music then he comes in the bedroom where we wait for him and we pray and then we sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JESUS!!!!
We will do this forever. We find it VERY important that our sons keep these traditions going and pass them all down to their children. Also to let their children know it is Jesus's Birthday and know their Bible which they do.
From here on out I am going to be very busy. I bake alot of cookies like my Grandmother did and freeze them and this year I am going to bring a couple of dozens of cookies to the Senior Center in our town.
I love the smell of our homestead and how cozy, warm and inviting it is when I start to decorate and bring out everything we have collected over the years. You will see some of our collections in the pictures I have taken.
This is a picture heavy post so please gave a cup of tea or hot chocolate sit back and enjoy!

So there are some goodies on my theme Christmas tree in the kitchen. This year I have 3 tree's in our kitchen. The other 2 have colored lights on them.
The second one is on a yellow ware bowl and is on an old sled in the window and the third one is a small one on the other side of my kitchen.
Here is the second one. Love it.
Here is my small tree. It didn't come out like I wanted too. The colored lights look alot better, the picture just didn't show it.
