All Different things

Hi Prims,
I just want everyone to know that some friends have been emailing me like Tammy(The Primitive Place blog) and some other friends that have called me to tell me that when they email me it comes back saying undelivered I just want to say I am not ignoring you. Please leave it in a comment . After the holiday's Ken is going to check it and see what is going on.
I do have friends that email me all the time and I get theirs,GO FIGURE!

So now I want to share with you my prim homemade stockings I made years ago and for our poodles,which they are our family too. Someone asked me in a comment could you post them. I didn't have a pattern it just came from my head, YES I do think sometime, LOL!
Here they are......

These are the snowmen bells I put on the stockings.

The 3 stockings hanging down the side of the door are our fur babies, I did theirs in homespun green.

This snowman is very special to me. It is from my friend K, she made sock snowmen, and we have been friends since! I LOVE him K and our friendship!!!

I baked so cookies yesterday, I am on nutrisystem and have lost 10 pounds, I ordered their food for 3 months, I want to get to 110  and be a size 2 again, I am also learning how to eat healthy when I get off the plan and after I get to my goal weight and eat in small portions, I am very excited , 10 pounds, WOOHOO>
I am still baking though,I have my Grandma's cookies and snowballs to make TODAY. It doesn't bother me at all to bake or cook for the family, I thought it would but I have the will power and I WILL be in a bathing suit this summer and tank tops and shorts and I will be able to tuck in my shirts and wear a belt again,WOOOHOOO!
I still have wrapping to do,we have friends coming tomorrow and Ken's Dad(the boys) Papa, and Steve-o and his girlfriend Megan so there will be 8 people tomorrow. I am so excited! I am cooking a big meal but I am having my nutri system dinner, NO CHEATING for this gal!!!!!

Oh here is one of my Santa's to my collection, I just couldn't find him he was in the same box with all my other wrapped Belnickles..

Here is a coloinal light that I put up with my redware, I am changing the light in it, I have prim bulbs and I am going to do that today.

 

I have to get off, I have a list that I wrote and I am behind so I wanted to say to all my friends that I have made here
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Remember why we celebrate CHRISTmas, it is Jesus's Birthday.

Ken and I also went to the lights last night and we always light a candle and we did again this year and we always say the Father's prayer and then pray for other things and we prayed outloud but softly, (me) for the families of Newtown, CT. Please remember them and ask the Lord Jesus to give them so kind of  comfort and peace to them and give them strength and to lean on him!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SON MATT!

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to wish our youngest son a very Happy 18th Birthday!
I sat down today and thought about when he was born and then starting to walk and talk, then going to school and has grown into a young good man.
Matt will always be our baby, know matter how old he and his older brother gets.

A Christmas box of goodies from a dear friend!

Hi my Prims,
Before I start my post I hold a very heavy heart for the tragedy that happend yesterday. Please keep all of the families and everyone involved in your prayers! Amen!

Tammy's homestead is beautiful for EVERY holiday. Tammy's homestead is FABULOUS!! Wait till you see her homestead all decked out for Christmas. I have known Tammy for many, many years and I am happy that I can call her friend.
Well, she took me by surprise and sent me of box of goodies........LOOKIE what I got......

I loved how she did the wrapping with the red and white cloth homespun.

I love my Christmas card, the Santa pops out like 3D.

LOOK at this mitten that Tammy made, it is full, you can ask my hubby I was jumping up and down like a little girl. Tammy I LOVE it.

I LOVE her, LOVE, LOVE her. I love the colors, they are perfect for my kitchen. I put my sweet girl in 2 places , so there are 2 pictures and I want everyone to vote where I should keep her...

Tammy thank you SO much for my surprise that came in the mail and for thinking about me.I love ya girlie!


Now, here is 2 pictures of my husband's office tree outside looking in and I had to do it in colored lights because he LOVES colored lights and my office tree outside looking in. My lights of course are white.

Here is our manger on the mantle that I finally did. Today I have to put up our prim stockings that I made, YES I made them..

Here is a stocking that we bought many years ago for Jesus and we put it out every year near the manger!

Birthday night!

Hi my Prims,
Here is Steve-o and his girlfriend and his proud Dad.

This is a sweatshirt that he has been wanting of the Bruins and when he opened it the look on his face was PRICELESS!

Here is the gift card that Mr.Hillcrest and I got him so he can go and get whatever he wants.

Here is Steve-o's girlfriend and his best buddy, they are taking Steve-o out for a Birthday dinner.

His girlfriend bought him his favorite band T-shirt of Led Zepplin, I forgot to show you so here it is with a picture of his Dad.My husband is the best Dad in the world.

Matthew had to work so he wasn't home but he has something for his brother and of course Matt is going to have cake when I get him home after work.
Matt looks up to his older brother so much!

Now here are some pictures I took tonight, I put up colored lights today, some came out blurry but there are a few that came out okay!

Also my snowman and today I went out and bought him a small Santa hat!!!

Also I wanted to show you that Mr.Hillcrest ordered for me the Tasha Tudor Christmas DVD, I LOVE her so much the DVD is wonderful.

I have alot of her books. Tasha lived in Vermont and her life was amazing. She passed away a few years ago at 92 years young.
Tasha wrote and painted and drew all her children's books that she had published. She was a truly amazing woman!

An update on our son Matthew. The medication is helping somewhat and they have gotten a few good reads on the monitor that he has to wear. So, we are putting in the Lord's hands and praying for the best!

Happy Birthday to our Son!

I want to wish our first born, Steve-o a very Happy Birthday today!
He has turned 21 years old, I can't believe it....where does the time go.
I remember holding him in the hospital when he was born like it was yesterday. He is a parents dream of a kid, doesn't smoke, drink or drugs.
He is a health nut, always did well in school NEVER gave us any problems,always listened to us when we gave him advice and still does,and everyone that knows Steven always says to his Dad and I WHAT a AWSOME kid you have.I told my husband this morning as a Mother I did something right raising a great young man that Steve-o has turned out to be.

Our son is the one in the middle, this was taken 2 summer's ago, they went to the cape at his friends house and they went camping in the backyard....theses friends grew up with Steve-o.
Steve doesn't like me posting pics. of him but he won't know, we are just SO PROUD of our son,he is an amazing young man and again so proud of him.We are going to have a cake and presents, pictures(he will be thrilled with that)LOL, and his girlfriend will be coming and his Grandfather.

Here is my baby boy, he isn't a baby anymore but in my mind he will be.....He is 6ft tall and SO handsome.
Steve-o we LOVE you SO much!
Next Dec 12th is our wedding anniversary and then Dec 19th is our son Matt's 18th Birthday, then Christmas then my Hubby Birthday Dec.27th.
Talk about busy in the month of December, I am glad my Birthday is in April!!!!!!!!
