My theme tree and a wonderful gift from a dear friend

Hi  My Prims,

I wanted to show you my theme tree that I have in my Prim office . I have one in the kitchen and I have one in Mr. Hillcrest's office and now in my office and in the bedrooms and upstairs in the hallway!!!!, My theme tree is 7ft tall and I decorated it alittle bit for Fall, remember Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday don't get me wrong I love Fall but NOT as much as Christmas. Now we have a theme tree in every room!!!!! In the livingroon have will have our big Prim Christmas tree when the time comes, the other theme trees are up all year round and I change them for each holiday!

I can't believe I did not have a theme tree in my prim office where I spend alot of my time, not just blogging but doing crafts and scrapbooking also!!!!!!

Look what Mr. Hillcrest made for me, it is for my small quilts and towels, I didn't paint it yet, but I will and hang it up in my 1800 room in my office. I just love to have things around me that make me feel so loved and everything he makes me has a special place in our Prim/Colonial Home and in my heart!! I feel very blessed!!!

I wanted to thank a very great friend of mine that sent me a wonderful gift in the mail, her and her husband are coming down in the middle of Nov. They are our age and we are going to have a ball, the first place I am taking Lori (my friend, she wants to go to Walker Homestead and that is where we are going then we are going EVERYWHERE because she wants to see all the shops decotated for Christmas!!!!!! I have about 10 shops we are going to go too, Mr. Hillcrest and her husband Joe will be coming of course, Ken is driving and then Sunday the men are going to the movies or they are going to  watch football because they BOTH love FOOTBALL! So, Lori and I can do MORE shopping. I will be taking ALOT of pictures!! I am so excited and I am really looking forward for their visit!!!

Look at the small prim operated candle, I can only find the tall ones which I have alot of them so now I have 2 of the small ones, I just can't find them here, thanks Lori!!. I put one in my candle holder to show you how nice it looks without a BIG tall one!!! Lori also sent me a Prim apple and a prairie doll and a beautiful sign, which has a  fabulous saying.

The saying is from the heart, friends come and go but true friends stay forever!!!

We have a very busy week here at Hillcrest Homes so I might not be posting for awhile!!!!!

My Collections

Hi my Prims,

My friend over at Primitive Devotion, Carolyn started this on her blog so I decided to join in!! This should be fun to see what everyone collects.

I collects alot of bowls, I just love them! There are alot of different colors also! Here are a few more bowls that I love.

So, there are a few bowls that I love and the different colors and textures.

Here are a few wooden bowls that I collect.

Now, here are stacking boxes I just love to have around my home.

Here are some jugs and salt glazed stoneware.

This jug I love because it is a lamp as you can see!

I also collect wooden spoons, mashers, rolling pins and old jars!!

I also want to show you a few gameboards that I collect, I don't have alot and some bonnets and stitcheries!!!

Here is a basket and and some stacking boxes I missed.

The last thing I want to post is I do collect bears, Not many now. My husband started buying them when we were dating and this one is my favorite and this I wanted to post for you my friend Carolyn. She too, has a collecton of bears!!!

I also want to say what a beautiful holiday it is. I feel that fall is in the air today and it smells like fall is around the corner!
