Happy Easter Everyone!!

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to share a few things with you before I have our guest's over about 2:00 pm.

These flower's smell beautiful. They scream Springtime and then later I can plant then in my garden.

 

Yes I made my Easter cupcakes and then last night hubby and I went to bath and beyond and I bought a cake tupper ware here it is ....

I LOVE it. I have been everywhere to find this and this is the only store that carries it.

Here are 3 Easter baskets for our 2 sons and I always make one for Mr. Hillcrest and he just LOVES it.
I always put their favorite DVD movies in their baskets and candy, t-shirts and the boys each got a gift card. They were thrilled!

Mr. Hillcrest bought me this movie that I have been wanting and 4 big bars of Dove chocolates, tomorrow I am back to my on Nutri-system so I will take advantage of my goodies today! I have about 25 more pounds to lose and I will be back to small shirts and a size 4 pants, WOOOHOOO I am DOING it!!!!!!!
Then I want to show you that I am a girlie girl and I want to show you some things that I have bought,

Bath and Body works is my FAVORITE store and I always get a 10.00 coupon which I will wait for a good sale and you spend 30.00 and then you use your coupon.
I also buy their candles and my favorite one this year for summer is..

Frosted Cupcake and I will tell you it smells wonderful!

Here are some of my Springtime nail polish and I counted I have over 32 bottles. I LOVE my nail polish.

I also bought these at Bath and Body works and they go on your purse which I will show you....

This one is I love cake and it smell so GREAT!

Here is what Mr. Hillcrest bought me for Christmas a real couch bag and I wanted to wait for Spring to use it so yesterday I changed it over.

I LOVE, LOVE my new couch bag!

Here is some more nail polish and the silver bottle is a sparkle that you put on top of your color.
Sorry about how some of the pictures came out but I am still using my son's camera until I find the one I want.

I don't know if you can see the sparkle but it is very pretty, I love it.
I also love the new product that came out called Baby Lips and here are the 2 colors that I did get...

They are great for your lips. You should really try one I am sure you will love them.

Some more things from Bath and Body works, foam soap and they smell so great you want to eat them and here are another 2 that I got on the same day..

YUMMY!

I also wanted to show you my makeup kit that I just LOVE and of course it is PINK!

My body lotion and spray called Moon light and it smell amazing! After your shower you put this on and you smell so fresh and it really makes you feel beautiful.

So there you go I am a girlie girl, our homestead is decorated Colonial and Prim but I love my girlie things too, so I wanted to share them with you.

Prayer Warrior's I am calling

Hi my Prims.
Most of you know already that Marie, as we know her OLM lost her sister this past week and I did speak with her on the phone and I did make her laugh BUT I am asking for your prayers for her father and nephew's(her sister's children .....her sister left 3 kiddo's behind. I can't image what they are going through)!
This is going to be a rough road and I ask you to pray that Marie stays STRONG because she is STRONG!
Also PLEASE Prayer Warrior's PRAY for Marie's nephew's and they are the ones that need our prayers right now, after losing their Mom.
Marie is a loving and kind and has a BIG GOLD heart and I know she will do whatever it takes for those kiddo's and her father. She has a lot on her plate right now, so please up lift her in prayer. Prayer can move mountains and I know that for sure!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for reading this, as I already said most of you already know about this but it's the kiddo's that we need to be lifted in prayer and Marie's father as well.

Guess what we got!!!!!

Hi my Prims,
Guess what we got over the weekend....a gazebo.
My husband is going to put it up near the end of the long bottom deck and it has a screen that we bought that goes with it. I am SO EXCITED!
This winter I have to say has been hard on everyone. The gazebo is 10X10 and it has four metal poles and also has a lip on the bottom of each pole and Mr. Hillcrest is going to drill heavy duty nails to hold it down and then we bought 3 boxes of white lights that are in a plastic tube and he is going to put them all up and I am looking for a wicker loveseat and I will make a cover for it when I find one. I don't want to spend $300.00 for a set so a friend of mine across the street from us knows where to look for one.

I have been wanting a gazebo for awhile now and why is because by 6:00pm the bugs are so bad we can't sit out there on our deck so NOW we will be able too.
What makes a girl happy and this girl is VERY HAPPY!
When we get it all set up I will be taking pictures to show all of my blogging friends.
I am ready to get into my gardens and my friend across the street from us is going to help me design and put in more flower's that come back every year.

We have our humming bird feeder's ready to go. We love to sit outside and watch them. They are my favorite.
I will also be potting flower's to put inside our new gazebo. Can you tell how excited I am.
Now we can sit outside and watch our sons in the pool and our gazebo will be all lite up and I will be able to sit with my hubby and read the newspaper and have our dinner out there etc.

So I don't have any pictures like I said but when everything is done I will take tons of pictures. We are also getting a new grill. I bought Mr. Hillcrest a grill about 6 or 7 yrs ago for Father's day and it is on it's last leg so we will be looking for a good sale and pick one up!

I hope we are heading for the feeling of Spring and the S word is over SNOW......YUCK!!!!!!!!
I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter.
We are having lamb and mint jelly, mash potatoes, two side vegetables and my Easter bread that I have FINALLY mastered. My Grandmother made one big one with colored eggs and then she would make each of us a small one just for everyone.
So, I will be making that and a homemade apple pie because my FIL,is coming and he LOVES my homemade apple pie!
Then of course my homemade cookies.
Our friend Michelle across the street is coming over with her boyfriend and our friends Brandon and his wife and their little girl who is a 18 months old and she is a doll and they are coming.

Picture Heavy Post Enjoy!

Hi my Prims,
First I want to tell you all that I am using my youngest son's camera because my camera fell and it broke but I am getting another camera because Mr. Hillcrest said it would be cheaper to buy a new camera than have this one fixed. We are looking at Canon's that is the kind I had before it broke, it sure does take awesome pictures so I am sorry about these pictures becasue they are from a cheaper camera and I can tell the difference.

So here we go,

See the quality ins't good. Well this was a off white candle holder and I paint it a burgandy color and when I get my new carmea I will retake some of these pictures.

I bought this little tree at Target and I painted the eggs.

Here is my new but old yarn winder. I put wool yarn on it and I have an old small basket that I am going to put the wool yarn in and I will take another picture to show you all. I LOVE this piece SO much!!!

This picture is in our hallway. I just adore this picture.
Remember we had a recent snowstorm and we got about 20 inches of snow here.
Here are a few pictures of what we got. It is almost gone now, I CAN'T wait for Springtime and to be able to get in my gardens and paint our fence that is around our inground pool and get our deck already for summertime.

So here are a few SNOW pictures......

It was so heavy that the big beautiful bush just went down but it popped back up now.

See the fence that I will be painting. I am painting it the color of our new trim when we did our homestead over last summer.

Okay enough of snow. I hope this was the last snow storm of the year.

Here are some goodies I found at a thrift shop I went to.

This has a hole in the bottom so I can plant some flower's in it for our deck.

You can't see it but the name of of it says Pfaltzgraff.

Now this tool box I found and stained it kind of a brown color and then I went to Jo Ann Fabrics and bought 2 clay pots and painted them then put some fake greens in them and then some hay with my carrots and then magic I have a new Springtime center piece.

Then I went to Target to get a few more things for Easter baskets and I swa these....

Sweet Basil.

This is what is inside. I bought one for my friend across the street and it is growing so I decided to get one.

Also this wire basket at Target for $3.00, I know can you believe it. I will do something with it. Then I will take a picture of what I do with it.

Also this cute little chick for place settings and I will put their names on it and date them. They came in 2 in a pack for a $1.00, I know again can you believe it!!!!!
Well that is it for now.
I hope I will have my new camera the next time I do a bog post.
