Blueberry Cake Recipe!!!!!!

Hi my Prims,
Here is my blueberry cake that I made this morning for all of you, step by step.......

I am showing you step by step.

Here is one of the bags of blueberries we picked, all you need for this recipe is 1 cup.


First an 8zo cream chesse in mixing bowl.
The a 1/2 cup of oil.
The dump the whole box of yellow cake mix.
Then pour in 1 box of instant vanilla pudding.
Then 4 eggs.
Then 2tsp.vanilla extract.
Then mix it altogether and when it is all mixed FOLD in 1 cup of blueberries.




This is what it will look like after you have folded in the blueberries.

Then spray you bundt pan and then put your mixture in the bundt pan.

Then cook it @ 325 degrees for 60 minutes.
This is what it looks like done.




YUMMY, everyone in your family will LOVE this and it it great when you also have company over. ENJOY!!!!!!!!

Phase 3 of our Homestead!

Hi my Prims,
Here is phase 3 of our Homestead.

In a comment Karen(Colonial Home) thought they were taking down our siding but I will show you the wooden shakes they took off and the new siding that looks just like wooden shakes.......Thsi is just for you Karen, LOL!!!!

The left side is the wooden shakes being taken off on the right side is the new siding, doesn't it look like wooden shakes? LOVE IT!

Here is the colonial color we picked!This is the NEW siding being put up!

Here is more of the new siding and around the window's they framed it out and then they are casting them all in the accent color.
They have a long way to go!

The new roof.
It is max def and just love it!


Here are some of my flower's in front of our deck.









They are also going to paint the deck. It is going to look like a brand new home.
Then after all this we have 2 bathrooms downstairs and up stairs is where our sons rooms are and the one room up there is already with plumbing is already there and we are going to do a bathroom just for them. Which I love but 3 bathrooms to clean, not so much!!!LOL!

Hubby and I went blueberry picking this morning to get away for a few hours.
Every year I make blueberry jam, blueberry pie and I have a new blueberry cake that I will be making and posting step by step and posting the recipe, you are ALL going to LOVE this blueberry cake, I make it in a bunit pan.
Will be coming soon.

Here is the love of my life and he enjoys picking berries every year with me. I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband like him in my life.

They are so big, juicy and yummy!


This is when I started out.
We picked over 18 pound of blueberries!!!!!!!
I have alot of canning to do and baking.
I am also going to be canning fresh farm tomatoes for my homemade spagetti sauce and we are going to can
for the first time pickles, and salsa.
So I hope you enjoyed is alittle bit of our life at our Homestead!!!!!

Phase 2 of our Homestead and pictures of when I was little

Hi my Prims,
It sure has been crazy here at the homestead BUT so worth it. They showed up yesterday at 7:00 am and they didn't leave till almost 7:00 pm. There are about 9 guys and they are back today.
The roof took 2 days and the rood crew finished it last night.
Here are some pictures:








All 3 screen door are off, we bought beautiful new heavy duty screen doors they will be putting put last!

There is our new roof, alot of work,
they are doing taking off the wooden shakers under my new kitchen window and
the whole back of the house.I can't wait to show you all when it is done.
We even went out last night when they left and bought new coloinal lighting for the kitchen door way outside and livingroom and the back door to our deck and pool, very excited.

Now with that said my Dad made a photo book for me, it helped him with what my mother is going through with cancer, to see their wedding photo's and my parent's got married when my mother was 18 and my dad was 19 and they have been married for 45 wondeful, beautiful years.

Sorry this didn't come out good but this is my Dad's side of the family. My Grandmother wasn't in this because she took the picture.
The handsome man leanding on the couch is my Dad and then my mom in front of him and yep me in her lap. Next to my dad is my PaPa and the my Auntie Lee my 2 cousins and my Auntie Paulette and her husband Uncle Tom.
My other Dad's brother is missing and that is my Uncle Bobby and his wife.

There I am with my Grnadmother(my Dad's Parents) and my PaPa!!!!

Here is my Grandmother and I, that I was very close too.
Summer vacations she would come with us, and then I would spend the rest of the summer with her and the weekends and school vacations. My Grandmother was like a mother to me and was my VERY BEST FRIEND!!!!
I was 16 years old there and my precious Grandmother.
She was the BEST thing in my life.

Now here I am with the love of my life my husband...
We were at church when this was taken.

Well there you go girls. The worker's are here and my hubby is outside going over a few things with them.
So I am signing off.
