Christmas part 2

This is my 1800 room/office with my computer. My hubby put in this window so when you walk by it looks like your looking in a Christmas shop. I love it.

This is our Old Christmas Kitchen.

My 1800 room/office.  I love it, it is so peaceful warm and cozy!

I will be taking pictures tonight of our living room. There is a lot of changes the way I decorated it. Then I will do another post.
Also could you keep my FIL in your prayers. Last weekend he was rushed to the hospital. He was at his Cape Cod home and for 3 days we went down to be with him and my husband took 2 days out(it happened on Saturday) of work so we could get him settled at home and a nurse comes everyday to care for him. He had a small stroke. He is 87 years old but if you could keep him in your prayers that would be a great gift.

Love each other and be kind to each other.
Life is short so enjoy it everyday.
Try and find something wonderful everyday, even
if it is a smile from a stranger or a simple hello.

Christmas Blessings,
Tricia

PS I will be back with Christmas part 3 of our living room and our Christmas tree etc.

Oldest Son's College Apartment

Hi my Prims,
I wanted to show you our son's college apartment.
Here was the move....

Loading a truck up.

Loading up our jeep.

Inside the door to show our jeep was packed!

My husband is in front of me then me and then our son was behind me!
What a move and long ride.

There is our son.

It was messy but remember it was move in day.

His kitchen. I forgot to take pictures after we put everything together because we came up the next day too. Also we were exhausted!

His bedroom and then off in the bedroom is his bathroom.

His desk and computer, printer etc., for college

He did meet 3 guys that live in his building that go to his college but he misses being home. He said he can't wait to graduate and move home.

This is his living room. When we go down again which we have so many times I will take pictures of his apartment all set up next time.

This past weekend I gave him a Christmas tree and prim decorations with colored lights and he set it up and sent us a picture. It came out great!
He is doing so well in college and we are so proud of him.

So, there you go. I wanted to show you his place.

Prim Blessings,
Tricia

Happy Day and Sad at the Same Time

Hi Prims,
Frist I want to address the sad tragedy that happened today.
My prayers go out to the TSA agent that was killed on the line of duty and for all the victims that were hurt.
Also for the 23 year old that did the shooting. I am praying for his family as well.
His father did call it in to try to stop his son, this is sad all around.
May the Lord be with everyone involved.

For HAPPY news. Our oldest son is home from college for the weekend. We are SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! First time since he started school. He and I just got back from shopping. I do have pictures of his apartment and you have to get buzzed in and it is very safe which is a big deal for us as parents. The college has a contract with this landlord and there are other students that rent there. There is a big break for the rent which we paid for the year and the heat is included.
I will post pics. of the move in. It was hard for us to see him move out go but he is getting a GREAT education.
Our youngest we went through a rough patch with him. Well he is working and just got a second job and he did a 180, changed his friends and we NEVER gave up on him. My husband and I don't know what happened for this BIG change but we are not COMPLAINING! This is the BEST thing that has happened. Our prayers were answered. Amen!
Well he came to us last week and he wants to go to college( Dean College)
He wants to take forensic,WOOOHOOO!
He was thinking a for a few yrs. hair dressing school but it doesn't pay well and he said he couldn't support himself or a family on that.
He starts in Sept., of 2014 but in March we have to put a down payment.
We are SO PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!
In this sick day and age we have AWESOME young men, like I said our youngest gave us a run but our prayers were answered! He turned out how we raised him to be!
We are so proud of you for changing your life around and growing up.
We are so proud of BOTH of our kids.
So that is what I wanted to like you know.

Please pray for the tragedy that happened today!!!!!

Prim Blessings,
Tricia XO

Our Harvest Homestead

Hi Prims,
I have been very busy. Getting our oldest son ready for college. He took a year off and decided to go back but to a different college in R.I. He has his own apartment and will be moving in Oct. 1st and then his classes start Oct.7th, all his credits were able to roll over to this college, I have been very busy with all of that and decorating for fall time.
I love the fresh crisp cool air and getting out our cozy sweaters.
Here are a few pictures of some fall decorating..........

Here is a homemade cake I made a while back and forgot to post it.
It was YUMOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

My family ate it in one day should I say any more.

I will post more often.
Love each other and be kind to one another.
Be happy and laugh often that is the best medication.

Fall Blessings,
Tricia
PS I will have more fall decorations in the homestead kitchen soon.
